"It is so great to see that Emmaus and Chrysalis are active in the town where I grew up! I graduated from LaSalle high school back in the 70's. I became active in the Emmaus community in the early 90's after moving to Texas and am a member of the Red River Emmaus community. My prayers are with all of you in Cedar Rapids. Your faith has seen you thru a very challenging summer and I know many will be recovering for months to come. I spent alot of my youth around the Cedar River and have many happy memories. "I Loved Chrysalis. It was so wonderful to be there. I am hoping to bring my friend for AL up here for it. And for anyone who is reading this i ask you to pray for her as she turns in her application and for me. so i can be there on campus helping her walk with her faith. She knows God but this walk for her will bring her even more closer.
